I have been training with Gary for the past 12 years (and with his lovely wife Heather many years before that). Gary's approach is to work you hard, but within your own limits. My group (Team 8:00) is a group of seasoned gals at different fitness levels and with different goals, but he pushes each of us to get stronger so we can be fit and active for years to come. He is always willing to adapt as a situation changes. I had a severe ankle break 3 years ago that resulted in a total ankle replacement. As a competitive ballroom dancer, I was anxious to get back to "normal" as soon as I could. Pre-replacement we worked on how to get the most mobility out of the joint without causing any more damage. After the replacement, it was full steam ahead. We worked on a plan to get my ankle and my whole right side strong again. My goal was to get back to a point where I could compete again. We've done that and I keep getting stronger. It was not easy, but I wouldn't be back on the dance floor without him.

After 4 weeks, everyone had noticed I had lost weight and toned up! After 8 weeks the the difference is unbelievable! I see physical changes I never thought possible. Pounds and inches have been lost and muscle has been gained; those are the measurable results and I couldn't be more thrilled. But the things you can't measure - the self-confidence, the motivation, the increased energy, and the peace of mind knowing I am on the path to a healthy lifestyle and won't ever look back - those are the things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It was the best gift I have ever given myself."
